The 22nd Australian Jamboree is running at the moment and, as with many Jamborees, an amateur radio station has been set up.
Using the rather long call sign of VI2AJ2010 they were on air yesterday and today. I have been fortunate enough to work the station on 20, 40 and 80m from home.
I have also emailed them with the sked times for this weekend’s trip to French Island. It would be good to have a Scout hike party in QSO with a Scout Jamboree station.
