He’s back!

Recently I posted about some problems I was having with my knee. Today I saw the surgeon and, after looking at the MRI scans, he told me that I don’t have a meniscal tear which was what he first suspected.

Instead I have a small irregularity behind my knee cap and it is best treated with physiotherapy to strengthen the muscles to better support my knee with surgery as a last resort.

With this in mind I have decided to go and try a small SOTA peak and see how it goes.

VK3/VT-050 North Hells Gate presents a gentle climb from where I hope to park the car to the activation zone.

Amateur Radio Victoria is reporting a big solar disturbance so I’ll be taking VHF as well as HF antennas with me.
