Where have I been?

It’s been a while since I have posted an update about what I have been doing with ham radio.

Why?

I have been busy with a few other things. Whitehorse Showtime is a scout and guide production where I am the Technical Director. This keeps me very busy during August and early September with rehearsals and performances. In previous years I have worked right through but this year, to avoid being sent interstate during the show, I took two weeks leave from work.

During my leave I worked on replacing the shower base in the bathroom This included concreting, patching and sealing walls and tiling as well.

Also each day between 2 pm and 5 pm local I made an effort to work 20m PSK or SSTV. AsĀ  result of this I have made over 180 QSO on 20m in the past 30 days. Even today after work I managed 10 QSO on 20m PSK.

So, even though I have been busy with domestic duties, I have still got some serious radio in as well.
