Whilst in the area planning for an upcoming hike with the local Venturer Unit I revisited the un-named SOTA summit VK3/VC-037.
Last time I was here I ran my FT450D to test the capability of my 8.4 Ah LiFePO4 battery. This time I went light-weight with the FT817 and it’s internal battery.
The activation also counted toward the WWFF award for Bunyip State Park VKFF-753.
I made 26 QSOs into VK1, VK2, VK3, VK4, VK5 and VK7.
