The Keith Roget Memorial National Parks Award is getting a bit more attention with other hams making plans to activate some new National Park early in 2011.
Four new National Parks were declared during 2010;
This takes the total number of National Parks in Victoria to 45. I have updated my map to reflect this.
I have also set up a Yahoo group with a mailing list to support the Award and I have invited others to join up and share news of their activations, both before and after. The group can be found at au.groups.yahoo.com/group/krmnpa. If you are interested in finding out when parks will be active, or to make your own announcements, please join the group.
Tony VK3VTH has qualified for the award and Wayne VK7FWAY is almost there as a non-Victorian award chaser. I know Wayne is in my log 3 or 4 times.
